Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Despite all the retail ads and pressure to ditch a day of giving thanks, I hope everyone takes a little time today to give thanks for their blessings and spend time with or call your loved ones.
Here at the farm the heavy frost has brought an end to our box program. I always have mixed feelings about this. While I am ready for a little rest, I am excited about what next year will bring. I am looking forward to growing new things and trying to improve. This coming season I plan on adding Brussels sprouts since this is requested quite often. If you have a request please email me I am happy to honor requests!
I want to say Thank you so much to those of you who bought produce from us this season. I am thankful for each one of you. Your business made such a difference for my family. Your support of our small farm goes right back into our local economy. I chose this line of work so I could be close to my family and of course I enjoy it. Thank you for making that possible. Please share about us with your friends.
It isn’t quite this cold out right now. This picture was taken several years ago, I enjoy looking at it though. I amazes me all the different patterns water makes when it freezes at different temperatures and all the variables that create, snow, ice, icicles and on and on. I am in awe. It amazes me.
I would like to take a minute to remind you of our Etsy Shop. We have items that would be great for gift baskets. All the items are made by me and with products from our farm.I strive to ship all orders within 24 hours! Remember us during gift giving season! We will still be selling some items locally through Lane Local foods This is a great resource for farmers and consumers in Lane County. Please check them out.
